Roles and Responsibilities

• Handle the full set of accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and general ledger functions.
• Assist in monthly and yearly closing activities, perform account analysis, and support the Manager in executing the responsibilities of the Accounts and Finance Department.
• Responsible for managing and monitoring the company’s accounts receivable, ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments, evaluating customer creditworthiness, and supporting overall cash flow management. 
• Maintain the cash book, record all receipts and payments from operating accounts, and prepare bank reconciliations.
• Make appropriate accruals and provisions in accordance with relevant accounting standards.
• Process payments, perform filing, and update accounts payable transactions; match invoices to purchase orders (PO) and delivery orders (DO), and perform accurate data entry into the accounting system.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and other relevant statutory bodies/authorities.
• Manage and maintain petty cash when required.
• Lead, mentor, and develop Accounts Assistants within the team to ensure effective performance and continuous improvement.
• Assist in any ad-hoc assignments.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accountancy.
• At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field will be added advantage.
• Preferably with knowledge in accounting, finance, bookkeeping and proficient with Accounting ERP system.
• Strong interpersonal, communication skills and problem solving skills.
• Good teamwork attitude. Leadership skills are an added advantage for career advancement.
• Required language(s): English and Bahasa Malaysia.
